Go Green is teaming up with the Park District and the Village Environmental Commission to bring you a Recycling Event at Village Green. Come and smash your Halloween pumpkins to become compost for the Village Green community gardens. Additionally, we are accepting many hard-to-recycle items with the help of FlatCan, Junkluggers, and EcoShip. Some fees apply. See list below:

FLATCAN:

• Textiles - FREE!!!

• Aerosol Products $1 per can

• Propane -14 & 16 oz only $4 per tank

• Latex Paint - Sample $0.50

• Latex Paint - Quart $2

• Latex Paint - 1 Gallon $5

• Latex Paint - 5 Gallon $20

• Household batteries $4 per pound

• Car seats & Strollers $10 Each

• Smoke & CO2 Detectors $1 Each

• Hardhats $1 Each

• PowerWheels w. Battery $20 Each

• Plastic Tricycles and Bubble Cars $10 Each

JUNKLUGGERS:

Any item which can be plugged in and/ or is battery operated is accepted (batteries not accepted). All items free, except $20 for TV/Monitors.

GO GREEN GLEN ELLYN + ECOSHIP PACKAGING COLLECTION:

All items are accepted free of charge. These items are being REUSED by small businesses, NOT recycled, therefore items must be clean and dry, no rips, holes, stains, etc. Labels can remain on.
