FREE potluck dinner and outdoor movie experience in the Sustain DuPage Garden as we screen the thought-provoking documentary Plastic People: The Hidden Crisis of Microplastics.
This award-winning feature investigates our addiction to plastic and the growing threat of microplastics on human health. Almost every bit of plastic ever made breaks down into “microplastics.” These microscopic particles drift in the air, float in all bodies of water, and mix into the soil, becoming a permanent part of the environment.
We’ll begin the evening with a potluck dinner and social time at 7 pm. The movie will begin at dusk (around 7:45 pm).
Feel free to bring a vegetarian dish or snack to share—though it’s not required.
Location: The Sustain DuPage Garden at 1926 N. Main St., Wheaton, behind the main building. Please park near the green garages.
Note: This is a vegetarian and intoxicant-free campus. Seating is limited, so we recommend bringing your own folding chair or blanket.
In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to Wednesday, April 30 at 7 pm
