Go Green Illinois Monthly Meeting
For many people, the indirect emissions created by our bank accounts and investments represent the largest component of our personal carbon footprint - more than waste reduction, food choices and even travel. The goal of our March program is to share information in an accessible format that will help you make financial decisions that are in line with your environmental values.
Learn how banking and investment decisions impact the environment. If you have a bank account, a college savings account, a retirement plan, or other investments, this program will provide tools and information to enable you to determine what your investments are funding and to make choices that are better aligned with your values. Discuss how our Go Green groups can educate our community members about this important topic.
We will also learn about the Climate Safe Pensions Act pending in the legislature in Illinois, and action you can take to help move it forward.
