NOTE TIME CHANGE DUE TO HEAT ADVISORY! Let’s get adventurous and go hiking at Glacial Ridge! It's a relatively unknown path off of the Prairie Path with an interesting history! We will meet at Walnut Park, 860 Walnut Street in GE at 9:30AM on June 30th. (street parking) We will be joined by Glacial Ridge steward Bruce Blake who will show us some of the historical artifacts and glacial markers. This is a short but challenging hike with some steep and rocky areas. There are some trees that have fallen and have not yet been removed, so we may have to climb over a tree on the trail. Wear sturdy shoes and consider hiking poles! Hope to see you there!
